Make-A-Wish Canada Launches Innovative TikTok Partnership
Feb. 23, 2026
Make-A-Wish Canada today announced a unique partnership with creator and singer/songwriter Stacey Ryan, supported by TikTok Canada and agency partner Zulu Alpha Kilo. Launched on February 20th, the original song, “Wish Song,” composed and sung by Montreal-born Ryan, is a one-of-a-kind Canadian collaboration.
“Wish Song” is inspired by and reflects upon the healing impact wishes have on children and families facing the unimaginable trials of navigating critical illness. Releasing on TikTok and major streaming platforms with a call for social engagement, the song is a symbol of the courage, strength, joy, and power in every wish kid. Fans, influencers, and creators are encouraged to use the track in their own content through an original Branded Effect karaoke feature on TikTok. Proceeds from the use of the song will benefit Make-A-Wish Canada, allowing the organization to grant even more wishes.
Meaghan Stovel McKnight, Chief Executive Officer, Make-A-Wish Canada said:
“Wishes give children the strength to fight their critical illness. We’re so proud to work with Stacey Ryan and TikTok Canada to create an original song that brings hope to life and as a feeling anyone can connect with. With ‘Wish Song,’ we are creating more awareness of the life-changing impact of a wish, and raising funds for future wish granting.”
Stacey Ryan said:
"I’m so honoured and grateful for the opportunity I was given to write ‘Wish Song’ for Make-A-Wish Canada. We were moved and inspired by the real life wishes of Canadian kids and that drove us to write this song full of love, hope and healing. I want nothing more than for these kids' wishes to come true, and with this song we can truly make a difference."
TikTok’s global social impact programming leverages TikTok’s tools and community to amplify important initiatives around the world. Through their collaboration with Make-A-Wish Canada, the platform’s Canadian team has donated ad support to bring “Wish Song” to market.
Sean Bell, Executive Director of Comms Planning & Technology at Zulu Alpha Kilo said:
"Music is a universal language on TikTok and we’re honoured to harness that for a good cause on the platform. After building strong momentum with the launch of the brand platform Wishes are Medicine last year, this innovative, community-led campaign was a natural progression."
The social “Wish Song” campaign will run through March 15. For more information or to donate, please visit wishsong.caor makeawish.ca
