Mary Franck Joins Hyperquake to Help Shape the Future of Immersive Experiences

Hyperquake, the independent creative strategy, branding, and experience design agency, is very proud to announce the immediate addition of Creative Director Mary Franck to its Experiences Team. The full-time staff addition was confirmed by Hyperquake's President and Chief Operating Officer Melissa Wheat Kelly.
Leveraging deep expertise and training in architecture, art, and technology, Franck specializes in infusing built environments with stunning digital media to inform, inspire, and connect audiences. With over 15 years of successes across experiential, she has led design and technology teams for Local Projects, IBM, ESI Design, New York Times’ experiential agency Fake Love, and Obscura Digital, among other pioneering innovators. The resulting culture-defining projects for renowned brands, visionaries, and artists have often generated global media attention and brought home prestigious creative-industry honors.
Kelly began:

Together with her Hyperquake colleagues, Kelly is an immense fan of Franck’s proven ability to distill complex and multi-dimensional challenges into the most memorable experiences imaginable.
She continued:

When you add-in the unique time she spent working directly with brands like IBM to deliver groundbreaking immersive experiences, her knowledge and expertise hit our sweet spot of iconic global brands, enterprise customers, and story-led immersive experiences of the highest order.”
Also an acclaimed artist whose works have been showcased internationally, Franck earned her B.A. in Conceptual and Information Art from San Francisco State University before completing her Masters in Design Research from Southern California Institute of Architecture. Currently residing in Brooklyn, Franck remains deeply committed to the alchemy of collaboration and teamwork – and to pushing what’s possible in experience design.
Franck explained:
“I knew that joining Hyperquake would be an opportunity to join a growing, dynamic company and to learn from luminaries of design while bringing my experiential expertise and point of view. With Potion as a leader in digital experiences for 20 years, our Brooklyn-based team is at an inflection point and it’s an honor to be stepping in to lead this studio creatively and build on its incredible culture and expertise. Also, Hyperquake’s long-term relationships align with how I like to work with clients – as a partner for the long haul, building not just for this project but for the next.”
