Miguel Campana Joins The Caviar Family
Jun. 25, 2024
In a move that feels as natural as your morning coffee, CAVIAR is thrilled to announce the addition of the renowned director Miguel Campaña to its established US team. Considering the outstanding collaboration and stunning films Campaña has created with CAVIAR's UK and French offices, this step is a perfect fit.
With over a decade of directing experience, LA-based Campaña has crafted campaigns for global giants such as AT&T, Canon, and Volkswagen. Top agencies like The Martin Agency, Grey, McCann, and Ogilvy attest to his ability to weave compelling and humorous narratives into visually stunning films for leading brands.
Michael Sagol, Managing Director and partner of CAVIAR Los Angeles, shares his excitement, said:
“Miguel’s exceptional talent and creative vision align perfectly with our commitment to producing innovative and impactful content. His addition will undoubtedly enrich our group's experience building unique visual careers.”
Salim El Arja, CAVIAR Los Angeles Executive Producer, added:
“Miguel is one of those rare talents who has mastered many areas of his craft. Whether through his ultra-precise vision of actor performance, production design, or cinematography, Miguel excels and continually pushes the boundaries of the advertisement medium. We’re delighted to welcome him to CAVIAR for the next big leaps in his career.”
Campaña remarked:
“After a wonderful experience with the Caviar offices in Europe, I can’t wait to start working together at home in LA. The creativity-driven approach that Michael, Salim, and the rest of the team bring to the company’s work speaks for itself, and I feel incredibly lucky to join such a talented and lovely group.”
Campaña’s knack for blending humor and visual artistry is exemplified in his work for Carlsberg, starring Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen. In a neat twist on his “Another Round” character, Mikkelsen questions whether a 0% ABV beer can truly enhance a good time like its boozy counterpart. With Campaña at the helm, orchestrating these scenes like a seasoned maestro, Mikkelsen is seen playing tennis, docking a spacecraft, and evaluating modern art—all while pondering this revolutionary concept. This snappy hangover-proof campaign showcases Campaña’s deft touch and solidifies his reputation as a visionary director.
CAVIAR is an internationally lauded production company attracting auteur talent and producing content that garners many awards across the globe. Recent advertising and brand collaborations include American Express, Prime Video, Sonic Drive-In, Essentia Water x NBA, and the celebrity-fronted Uber Eats Super Bowl LVIII commercial starring Jennifer Anniston, David Schwimmer, Usher, Jelly Roll, and Victoria and David Beckham. CAVIAR also produced the acclaimed limited series “Bad Sisters,” led by showrunner Sharon Horgan, which went on to win several BAFTAS, and the Academy-awarding winning “Sound of Metal,” and “War Pony,” which won Camera d’Or at Cannes.
