Award-winning post-production house Nomad has promoted Tommy Palumbo to its roster of editors. Known for pushing creative boundaries, Tommy blends inspiration from cinematic masters with modern influences, crafting compelling visual stories that resonate with today’s audiences.

Drawn to the editing room by a desire to shape stories on film, Tommy’s work reflects a wide range of inspirations—from the emotional precision of industry legends to the inventive approaches of a new generation shaping music videos and social content. His style feels both contemporary and deeply cinematic.

Jai Shukla, Partner at Nomad and fellow editor, says of Tommy:

“Over the years, I've observed that true success in this industry comes from a combination of creativity and natural aptitude. Tommy has both. I am looking forward to his success as an editor.”

Tommy’s recent projects include a Mercedes-Benz commercial that premiered during The U.S. Masters Tournament, blending luxury and grit through striking visuals. He has also cut action-driven campaigns for the SEC, MLB, GMC, and Freshpet, as well as Grace VanderWaal’s "Babydoll" featuring Aliyah’s Interlude.

Tommy Palumbo upon his promotion with Nomad remarked:

“Through collaborative partnerships, I strive to bring creative visions to life and forge meaningful connections with audiences. I believe in the importance of constant evolution, actively seeking new techniques and perspectives to refine my craft. I’m proud of the work I’ve done during my years at Nomad and how the team at Nomad has shaped who I am as an editor. I am thrilled for this next chapter!”

Julia Williams, Executive Producer at Nomad, added:

“Tommy’s curiosity and creativity set him apart. He’s always asking ‘what if?’ and finding innovative solutions to deliver impactful stories that meet our clients’ needs. His passion and problem-solving skills make him an invaluable part of the Nomad family, and we’re excited to have him on our roster.”
