OKAY STUDIO Welcomes Editor Charles Gamble to Growing Roster of Talent
Jul. 14, 2022
Keeping with their tradition of finding young emerging artists, OKAY STUDIO announces the signing of in-demand editor Charles Gamble to its growing roster of talent.
Since graduating from his studies of Film, Charles has wasted no time immersing himself into the creative community, seizing every varied opportunity to develop his skills.
With an impressive body of work already behind him, Charles has lent his talents to spots for Nike and New Balance, while showcasing his comedic timing for Old Spice’s 2022 Webby award winning ‘Curls Are Cool’, directed by PRETTYBIRD’s Yousef. In addition to his commercial portfolio, Charles has worked on Kai Blamey’s short film ‘FEEL’, and music videos for the likes of Aitch, Paloma Faith, and Sam Fender.
Charles Gambles comments:
“As soon as I was introduced to the OKAY setup and ethos, I knew it was for me. It was great to feel the support and guidance from Nikolaj, Madeline and Josh from the very beginning of our first discussion. I look forward to working on many more creative projects with the OKAY family and further developing my craft.”
Nikolaj Belzer, Founder and MD of OKAY STUDIO, adds:
“Charles and our team worked together on a few projects last year and it became obvious pretty fast just how far ahead he was from a pure edit skill point of view. After seeing him work in the suite alongside clients and getting to know him better we realised he had all the parts needed to really push through. Add to that a work ethic that is second to none, and we knew he’d be perfect for the OKAY team. We are over the moon to have him on board.”
Josh Sanders, Executive Producer at OKAY STUDIO, comments:
“We’re super excited to be working with such a versatile and ambitious talent. Charles has all of the attributes to succeed in this industry. He is fearless, shows great maturity and composure, and his enthusiasm for the craft of editing is infectious. Charles is not only technically gifted, but he also never compromises on his attention to detail. He is a true collaborator and I look forward to working with him on many projects to come.”
