Feb. 06, 2026
ParalympicsGB is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Global, the Media & Entertainment Group, as its Official Audio & Outdoor Partner for the upcoming Paralympic cycle and through to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.
The collaboration will bring the stories, achievements and personalities of ParalympicsGB athletes to audiences across the UK like never before. It will give fans access to ParalympicsGB content across Global’s flagship radio brands and podcasts, including athlete-led content and behind-the-scenes features to spark nationwide excitement. Listeners will have opportunities to hear exclusive interviews, follow training‑ground insights, and participate in competitions and activations designed to bring people closer to the ParalympicsGB experience.
The multi‑year agreement will also see Global activate across its extensive outdoor network across the UK, creating a powerful platform that celebrates the journey to the Games and connects the public with ParalympicsGB athletes on the biggest stage in Paralympic sport.
Anna Scott Marshall, Director of Communications and Social Impact, ParalympicsGB, said:
"ParalympicsGB athletes have unique stories which embody resilience, ambition and demonstrate the power of sport to transform lives. This partnership with Global allows us to share these stories with millions across the UK. Through audio, outdoor and digital channels, we can highlight our athletes' journeys in innovative new ways and build excitement as we look ahead to the Games."
Mike Gordon, Chief Commercial Officer at Global, said:
"We’re thrilled to partner with ParalympicsGB and bring the stories of these extraordinary athletes to life across the nation. By combining the reach of our audio and outdoor platforms, building on our experience in amplifying major sporting moments, and utilising our new Sport by Global division, I can’t wait to see and hear the meaningful moments that inspire the public and shine a spotlight on ParalympicsGB excellence."
The collaboration will be supported by Sport by Global, Global’s branded-entertainment division dedicated to sport that’s designed to bring brands, rights holders and fans closer through multi-platform content and experiences. The division unites Global’s outdoor, audio, social and video capabilities to grow audiences, build fandom and unlock commercial opportunities.
Together, ParalympicsGB and Global aim to elevate the visibility of Paralympic sport, deepen audience engagement, and inspire the next generation of athletes and supporters, uniting the nation behind ParalympicsGB on the road to the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.
The partnership draws inspiration from Global's expanded role with Team GB.
