Performance Marketing Agency Impression Hires First Head of PR and Social
Sep. 02, 2025
Performance marketing agency Impression has announced the appointment of Hannah Craig as its first Head of PR and Social.
Craig brings more than a decade’s experience across integrated PR, influencer engagement and social strategies. Prior to joining Impression, she founded the northern division of The PHA Group, establishing and leading teams across Leeds and Manchester. Other previous roles include Group Account Director at creative agency Finn and PR Account Director at global communications network Saatchi & Saatchi.
In her new role, Craig will be responsible for supercharging Impression’s existing PR capabilities by grouping PR, social and influencer under one roof, ensuring that the disciplines work together rather than in silo to strengthen client campaigns across multiple channels. She will work with a range of B2B and B2C client partners including Dino Decking, Queensmith, Gentian, Get Laid Beds and The Cornish Company.
Craig joins Impression’s office in Manchester, following significant growth for the agency in the region. Impression launched its Northern office in late 2023 and has since partnered with a number of high-profile regional clients, including Castore and MoneyPlus.
Hannah Craig said:
“I’m so excited to join Impression. I grew up in ‘traditional PR’ where creativity, storytelling and relationships win the day, but I’m equally convinced the future belongs to ideas you can measure, iterate and scale. By fusing the craft of classic PR with the precision and accountability of ‘digital PR’ and social, we’ll create something genuinely distinctive for our clients: bigger stories, smarter distribution and results you can see on the dashboard and the bottom line. The best PR ideas should travel, earning headlines and conversation, then powering owned and paid content that keeps delivering long after launch. Combining our service offerings to integrate social and influencer will help us achieve this, and more. What really drew me to Impression was the ambition of the agency and the culture within the team. It’s a place that’s hungry to grow, not afraid to push boundaries and genuinely collaborative. And to me, that’s the perfect foundation for building something special together!”
Liam Wade, Director of Performance at Impression said:
“We’ve always been committed to challenging best practice – not just doing what’s expected but constantly asking how we can do it better to stay ahead of the curve. Building the marketing team of the future means bringing together brilliant specialists who can think beyond channels and deliver integrated strategies that drive real impact. Hannah’s role is a big step forward in that journey for us. By uniting PR and social, she’ll help us raise the bar, create standout work and set a new benchmark for what clients can experience from an agency partnership.”
