Plotworks Signs Acclaimed Streetstyle Director Daniel Wardh
Sep. 17, 2025
Known for films for KitchenAid, Zalando, Haagen-Dazs, The North Face, Vans, Apple and many more global giants, Daniel Wardh is easily recognized having a distinct style and playfulness to his work.
Gothenburg-born director Wårdh first discovered his passion for visual storytelling through skateboarding, honing his visual craft by making skate films at a young age, travelling the world capturing the street culture with a skateboard in his hand and a camera in the other.
Tim Resdal, CEO & Exec. Producer at Plotworks in Copenhagen said:
"His visual language is instantly engaging, always finding a fresh approach and keeping the viewer glued to the screen. He directs with a certain authenticity to it. You can feel that he is no stranger to skate films, having created those since childhood."
Daniel Wardh added:
"To me the tempo and attitude of skateboarding has always inspired me. It has been a lifestyle for so long and on a subconscious level it continues to influence my work. Or so I am told! To me it just feels natural. And as an avid record collector I find inspiration in music too. So when I read boards and scripts, to me the film I see and my interpretation comes from a mix of that."
This curiosity behind the lens shaped his career, and he has built a reputation for his cinematic artistry with a deep understanding of storytelling. After beginning his journey at Acne he quickly carved his own path as a director with a distinct voice and vision. Wårdh joins Plotworks at an exciting time of growth, further strengthening the company’s ability to deliver bold, world-class creative films.
Tim Resdal, CEO & Exec. Producer at Plotworks in Copenhagen said:
"He’s been on our radar for quite some time, and working with him is such a pleasure and it just clicks with our approach. I am really proud of adding him to our roster for representation in Denmark, and really look forward to bringing his unique voice to even more collaborations!."
Daniel Wardh concluded:
"Plotworks is a small powerhouse that has already shown its potential in the projects we’ve created together. Their strong team has truly reshaped my view of what a production setup can be. We share the same curious, collaborative approach to filmmaking, and I’m excited about the projects we’ll bring to life together ahead."
