Publicis London has appointed David Anderson and Ian Brassett as Creative Directors, further strengthening the department led by CCO Noël Bunting.

Working across Publicis London's international client portfolio, Anderson and Brassett will work closely with Bunting to deliver culture-shaping and effective multi-market creative work. They report to Bunting.

Creative partners for 19 years, Anderson and Brassett join Publicis London following eight years at Ogilvy, where they led a number of the agency’s best recognised campaigns for brands including Dove, Coca-Cola, Boots (Soltan) and the Mayor of London.

Highlight work includes "#TurnYourBack" with Dove, a global initiative which won a Grand Prix at Cannes among other accolades after challenging the impact of AI beauty filters on young people's self-esteem, and the multi award-winning “Say Maaate to a Mate” campaign with the Mayor of London, which tackled everyday misogyny by giving men practical ways to challenge inappropriate behaviour among their friends.

They also previously held creative roles at FCB Inferno and M&C Saatchi.

The appointments are the latest in a string of senior appointments at Publicis London, which include those of Loren Cook and Bronwyn Sweeney, who were appointed as joint Global Creative Directors the start of the year, and the promotions of Trent Patterson and Katie Hibbard to CEO and CSO respectively. The agency has welcomed a number of new clients and picked up multiple creative and effectiveness awards in the past year.

Noël Bunting, Chief Creative Officer, Publicis London, said:

"When you look at the best work that’s landed in the last few years, Dave and Ian's names come up a lot. They've consistently come up with ideas that people genuinely care about. They're ambitious, restless and they care deeply about the quality of the work. That's exactly the sort of people we want at Publicis London and we’re lucky to have them."

Ian Brassett, Creative Director, Publicis London, said:

"Publicis London has had real momentum lately, both in the work it’s making and the team it’s building. Wanting to move the world is no small feat, but luckily there’s a clear energy around the place, and a strong sense of where the agency is heading. Dave and I were drawn to that ambition and to the chance to help build on it."

David Anderson, Creative Director, Publicis London, added:

"What stood out straight away was the mix of people and perspectives at Publicis London. Obviously everyone’s extremely talented, but more importantly there’s also a real openness in how the agency thinks and collaborate. You feel that in the work and we’re looking forward to being part of what comes next."
