Serviceplan Win Grand CLIO at CLIO Awards for Dot Pad. The First Object Interaction App for the Visually Impaired

Serviceplan Group were awarded a Grand Clio for Dot Pad. The first object interaction app for the visually impaired, during a ceremony at Gotham Hall, NYC on 25 April, hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson.

The Grand Clio was the crowning glory of a successful Clio awards that saw Serviceplan Group win 3 Gold, 7 Silver and 10 Bronze Clios for work from Serviceplan Germany and Korea, Mediaplus Group  and Pereira O’Dell. The awarded work was created for clients Dot. Inc., AROYA, PENNY, Gruner + Jahr Germany/Stern and Hinz&Kunzt, and Serviceplan Group’s US partners Pereira O’Dell collected 2 Bronze Clios for MIDEA, 90 Minutes of Air Conditioning.

Serviceplan Innovation and Serviceplan Korea’s work with Dot. Inc. on the Dot. Pad, The first smart tactile graphics display, was awarded a Grand Clio in the category of Design, Product Design, and Dot. Pad. won 2 Bronze Clios.

Serviceplan Group Global Chief Creative Officer Alexander Schill commented:

  • Freedom Grams, AROYA was recognized with 2 Gold Clio awards and also collected a Silver Clio and 2 Bronze Clios.
  • Hinz&Kunzt, City Life Billboard collected a Gold Clio and a Silver Clio.
  • Dot Go. The first object interaction app for the visually impaired, Dot. Inc. was awarded 2 Silver Clio and 2 Bronze Clio awards.
  • The Rift, PENNY was awarded 2 Silver Clios and a Bronze.
  • Dyslexia Unetided, Gruner + Jahr Germany/Stern won 1 Silver Clio and 1 Bronze.
  • Serviceplan Group partners Pereira O’Dell were recognized with 2 Bronze Clio awards for 90 Minutes of Air Conditioning, MIDEA.

The Clio Awards were founded in 1959 to honour excellence in advertising, and today celebrate bold and grounbreaking work that propels the advertising industry forward, and incubates meaningful connections within the international creative community.
