Feb. 06, 2026

Stone Ward has promoted Allison Bermudez, APR, to public relations director, advancing a leadership structure that positions public relations as a strategic driver of agency growth and integrated client service.

In her new role, Bermudez will lead Stone Ward’s public relations practice, overseeing strategy and execution for national, regional, and local clients while guiding talent development, operational excellence, and the evolution of the agency’s strategic communications capabilities.

Dana Dussing Berry, managing partner/PR of Stone Ward said:

“Allison brings the strategic judgment, operational discipline, and leadership perspective required to grow a modern PR practice. Her promotion reflects our confidence in public relations as a business-critical function and our commitment to delivering senior-level counsel to clients navigating increasingly complex communications environments.”

Bermudez joined Stone Ward in 2025 as a senior public relations counsel, following senior communications roles across the private and public sectors. She brings extensive experience in corporate communications, external affairs, and crisis and reputation management, along with a strong record of nonprofit board leadership.

Bermudez said:

“Public relations plays a critical role in shaping reputation and supporting business decision-making. I look forward to leading the continued evolution of our PR practice to deliver clarity, credibility, and measurable impact for our clients.”

Dussing Berry, a 19-year Stone Ward veteran, will continue in her role as managing partner, focusing on high-value client relationships and expanding the agency’s crisis communications and reputation management services.

Bermudez holds Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America and currently serves as president-elect of PRSA Arkansas. She is a graduate of Leadership Arkansas Class XVI.
