The Considered Highlights the Importance of Skill-Based Merit by Elevating Tina Bertolini

Aug. 10, 2023

In a move that reflects its strategic thinking of focusing on skill set and value rather than simply tenure when promoting from within, pioneering healthcare marketing agency The Considered has elevated Tina Bertolini to the role of Head of Operations & Project Management.

Having been with The Considered since its beginnings, Bertolini was immediately given a platform to lead initiatives, develop processes and build client relationships. In the process, she’s worked closely with The Considered’s entire team to ensure all client projects are progressing on schedule and that the agency is producing the best product and outcomes for clients.

In regards to her new role, Bertolini said:

"I hope to continue to build upon how we can be even more operationally efficient, continue to wow our clients and ensure the collaborative and incredible culture we have built is maintained."

For The Considered Founder/CEO David Hunt, Bertolini’s most valuable contribution comes down to one word: leadership.

The Considered Founder/CEO David Hunt said:

"Too often, adjectives are thrown around to appease high performers, coupled with the usual excuses of “review cycles” and “years of service. It’s a lie, disingenuous, designed to maintain the status quo. Yes, Tina is exceptional, one of the absolute best. But more than that, Tina is a leader, she’s been a leader since she arrived, she is a leader in everything she does. It is why in less than two years, having joined as a Senior Project Manager, she is a leader in name and title, and not just words. Tina Bertolini, thank you."

With several years of agency experience at the likes of DDB and RAPP, the latter for which she held project management roles and worked with clients like the U.S. Army, Bertolini has always had a knack for taking on many roles and the opportunity for plenty of cross-collaboration.

She said:

"In many of my previous roles, I was also in positions in which I wore many hats. I think this skill set has set me up for success. I enjoy learning aspects of everyone's roles, as I am eager to continually grow and always happy to help my teammates."

According to Bertolini, working with a small but innovative and agile agency like The Considered has been one of her most rewarding career experiences. Having played a key role in shaping the agency’s structure, values, and overall culture, Bertolini is nothing less than proud of the agency’s growth in such a short period of time. This growth has culminated into the agency’s Design Thinking ethos, which is at the core of the creative and strategic workflow at The Considered and is emphasized to accelerate commercial success and improve treatment outcomes.

She exclaimed:

"We are small but mighty. And the amount of amazing work we have developed in the last 18 months is truly incredible. We have the BEST team, and I am so very proud to be a part of it."
