The Last Ninja Faces Off Against Turtle Beach's Stealth Pro II In The Ultimate Showdown
Apr. 22, 2026
To showcase the elite audio of the new Stealth™ Pro II wireless gaming headset, Turtle Beach has created the ultimate stealth showdown–testing the headset against Jinichi Kawakami, the last ninja on Earth.
In partnership with AOR GUT New York, Turtle Beach searched the world to find the stealthiest man alive–Jinichi Kawakami, the last living practitioner of authentic ninjutsu. Sensei Kawakami traveled from Japan to participate in a challenge against three real gamers wearing the all-new Stealth Pro II Headset, including creator Angelica Trae (@ayytrae).
Armed with the Stealth Pro II, the gamers entered an arena where the Last Ninja was hiding. Audio was fed into the headsets from mic chokepoints set up along the course. The challenge was simple: hear the Last Ninja before he finds you. This over-the-top product demo showed the serious lengths that Turtle Beach would go to for the sake of unserious fun.
Turtle Beach CEO, Cris Keirn said:
"When we learned the world only had one ninja left, we knew we had to do whatever it took to find him. Putting our new flagship headset to the test against the stealthiest man alive is the ultimate product demo. It showed how far we would go to deliver fun to gamers."
With the advanced audio of the Stealth Pro II, the gamers were able to hear the last ninja. It was the ultimate product demo, highlighting Turtle Beach’s legacy of gaming sound and stunning audio performance. Because if the Stealth Pro II can hear the footsteps of a real ninja, then it can hear anything in a video game.
The cinematic longform piece is a bold continuation of Turtle Beach’s platform "Seriously Unserious" that they’ve developed with GUT New York, and their goal of bringing fun back to gaming.
GUT New York CCO Lucas Bongioanni said:
"Sound is a huge part of gaming, and Turtle Beach delivers the most seriously engineered sound in the world. We wanted this idea to be full of that same serious effort. Tracking down the last ninja alive and creating a long-form piece of content just to see if the headset could hear the ninja’s footsteps was the only way to put this elite audio to the test."
