The Paris Executive Jury Session Concludes as Gerety Awards 2026 Shortlist Discussions Begin

Jun. 09, 2026

The Gerety Awards executive jury session in Paris has officially concluded, bringing together leading creative voices from across the industry to review and discuss some of the strongest campaigns entered into the 2026 competition.

Held as part of Gerety’s global judging process, the in-person executive jury sessions play a key role in shaping the shortlist. This year, more than 260 judges from over 50 countries are participating across 15 jury locations worldwide, reflecting the Gerety Awards’ unique perspective and commitment to evaluating work through a powerful lens.

The Gerety Awards executive jury in Paris was led by Gabrielle Attia, Creative Director at Marcel, alongside a jury of creative leaders from across the region.

Gabrielle said:

“Chairing an all-female jury means discovering that collective intelligence thrives precisely on disagreements. Our opinions didn’t always align, and that’s exactly what enriched our discussions. When a campaign reaches a level of excellence, each of us finds our own reasons to love it or challenge it. This year, we also wanted to judge the real impact of the campaigns: our profession isn’t self-contained; it must reach people. PR campaigns particularly shone in a well-represented, inspired category of very high caliber. And then there was the diversity of projects—from emotionally driven films to wildly original creations, and campaigns rooted in cultures and issues far removed from our own. That’s perhaps what struck me the most: engaging with global creativity, with work conceived in contexts we don’t know, reminds us why this profession is so vibrant. You leave the room enriched and genuinely inspired."

To find out more about the Paris jury discussion, you can watch the Gerety Jury Insight from France with Stratégies that took place last week.

The Gerety Awards shortlist will be announced on June 16, followed by a series of live Jury Insights Panels featuring members of the executive juries discussing standout trends, themes emerging from the judging rooms, and what defines creative excellence in 2026.

The highest-scoring shortlisted campaigns will also be featured in the Gerety Shortlist Reel, a curated showcase shared with agencies, production companies, brands, and creative leaders around the world during shortlist week.

To celebrate the announcement of the shortlist, Gerety Awards will once again host its VIP BBQ gathering during Cannes, bringing together judges, entrants, partners, and friends of the awards for an evening celebrating the work shaping the industry this year.

The final winners will be selected by the Gerety Grand Jury following the executive jury sessions.
