Sep. 10, 2025

We are proud to announce that Fidelio Faustino - the newest young and up-and-coming photographer, cinematographer and director has joined 100%. Fidelio brings a body of work that’s deeply rooted in culture, spirituality and memory, and we are so excited to collaborate with him in shaping projects that carry that nuance and honesty.

Based between Amsterdam and Paramaribo, Fidelio’s practice blends Afro-Caribbean and Indigenous perspectives with contemporary image-making. His portraits and films embody intimacy while sparking conversations about identity, representation, and belonging.

Alessandro Tomasi, Talent Agent at 100% said:

“We first met Fidelio through the sQuare accelerator program in Amsterdam, and right awaywe were amazed by his sharp creative vision and the way he moves so effortlessly between film and photography. It was clear from the start that he has this rare gift for capturing stories in a way that feels elegant, poetic and  authentic. At such a young age, Fidelio has already found his own, unique and recognizable voice. We can’t wait to collaborate on exciting commercial and fashion campaigns together.”

Fidelio’s work has been recognized internationally, including multiple selections in PhotoVogue’s “Best of” and a “Pic of the Day” feature. He was named one of PhotoVogue’s 100 top Latin American talents, exhibiting at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan. Earlier this year, he was named to SO’25 - Selection of Dutch Photography, a prestigious recognition of emerging voices in Dutch photography. His collaborations span commercial, institutional, and artistic spheres, with partners such as New Balance, The New Originals, Naomi Sharon, FOAM, Dezeen, NRC Magazine, and the Open Space Contemporary Art Museum.

Fidelio said:

“I shape a visual language born from the community itself, a way of seeing that resists the outside gaze and reclaims how we choose to be remembered. I’m grateful to now continue this journey with 100%, joining a family that believes in the power of community”.

Beyond his own practice, Fidelio has shown a strong commitment to community and mentorship. In projects like Voetbalcultuur in West - a program at Foam and MAQAM - he co-led workshops for young photographers from Amsterdam West, culminating in a public exhibition at MAQAM. These initiatives underline his dedication to fostering new talent and amplifying underrepresented voices.

Fidelio currently has an upcoming exhibition at FOAM in Amsterdam, titled “Tapsei” -showcasing his work done in his home of Suriname.

Moving seamlessly between formats, from photography to film - we couldn't be more thrilled to work together on future projects. showcasing his work done in his home of Suriname.

Welcome to the 100% family!
