TUX Creative House Debuts Latest Episode of W Hotels' Global "Hotel Tales" Campaign Starring Avantika
Oct. 16, 2026
TUX Creative House, the award-winning full-service creative agency, has released the fourth episode of W Hotels' ambitious and ongoing global brand campaign, Hotel Tales, that dramatizes the curiosity-provoking world of W Hotels by tapping intriguing guests who share their untold stories and epic moments that can only happen at W Hotels.
The latest chapter of Hotel Tales features Avantika, the breakout actress and dancer known for her role as Karen Shetty in Mean Girls (2024) and appearances in Tarot, American Horror Story, and Hulu's Not Suitable for Work. In this episode, titled "The Unexpected Invite," Avantika shares how a well-timed nudge to break her routine during a long stay in Toronto led her to a fun yet mysterious dinner full of strangers. The story illuminates W Hotels at its best: a place where the right suggestion at the right moment turns an ordinary night into one worth retelling.
Chelsea Matthews, VP Creative and Partner at TUX Creative House said:
"One of the most rewarding parts of Hotel Tales is creating stories that feel authentic to the people at their center. Every chapter challenges us to find a fresh perspective on the world of the brand and the talent, and Avantika’s started with a true story she actually experienced at W Budapest. We couldn’t have asked for a better harmony in storytelling and partnership."
The episode debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival, where TUX Creative House and W Hotels co-hosted an exclusive Connectors Dinner at W Toronto on the festival's opening night. The intimate gathering brought together 30 media figures and tastemakers for an evening attended by Avantika herself.
Since 2024, Hotel Tales has turned the spotlight on W Hotels' most intriguing guests, including Chloe Sevigny, Miranda Makaroff and Orville Peck, and let them tell the moments that could only have happened at a W Hotels.
The campaign is running for three months across North America in digital, paid social and organic social on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Condé Nast. The suite includes a :60 hero film, three :15s, two :06s and four behind-the-scenes videos.
TUX won the W Hotels business on a project basis in 2024. Hotel Tales took Gold in Hospitality at the 2025 Shorty Awards and five Platinum honors at the 2026 MUSE Creative Awards, and the series has generated more than 1.2 billion impressions worldwide.
