Zulu Alpha Kilo New York Partners With (RED)
Apr. 27, 2026
Following a competitive review, (RED), the organization co-founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 to fight AIDS, has selected Zulu Alpha Kilo New York (Z.A.K. NY) as its strategic and creative partner to reignite urgency, relevance, and cultural momentum for the organization and the fight against AIDS for the next generation and beyond.
The win is the latest in a strong year of growth for Z.A.K NY. The agency was named a 2026 A-List Agency Standout by AdAge, as well as a finalist for 2026 Campaign US Fastest Growing Agency of the Year.
Kate Charles, Managing Director at (RED) said:
“We’ve never been closer to ending AIDS, but the crisis is still ongoing—there are 25,000 new HIV infections every week—while we face the challenge of it being seen as a problem of the past. In our search for an agency partner, we were looking for strategic and creative horsepower to reinvigorate the movement and make ending the AIDS crisis feel culturally significant again, particularly with Gen Z. We’re thrilled to have found that with the team at Zulu Alpha Kilo New York.”
Their recent work includes the launch of The New York Times’ Family Subscription in a massively popular spot featuring Eli Manning and family, and Stonefire’s North America relaunch. Z.A.K.’s #ChangeTheCompliment campaign for Dove ran in 25 markets globally and earned System1’s highest possible Star Rating for creative effectiveness with a score of 5.9, and was named one of their top 10 ads that broke through in 2025.
Tim Gordon, COO and Partner at Z.A.K. NY said:
“(RED) is a revolutionary organization that has changed the way everyday people engage in activism. As an agency with a passion for rejecting the status quo, and a history of innovative cause-driven work, we are proud and excited to partner with (RED). Its 20th anniversary isn’t just another birthday; it’s an event happening at a critical moment in the effort to fight AIDS. And together, we can create work that invites the world to be a part of how it ends.”
