Through the equitable distribution of broadcast and commercial revenues, the Premier League aim is to enable all Clubs to be competitive and to develop so that European competition is a realistic goal and, once there, they are playing at a level where they can compete effectively. The Premier League’s remit and responsibilities also extend to supporting and providing a framework for youth development, protecting the organisation’s intellectual property, supporting the wider game and community programmes, undertaking international development work and liaising with governing bodies and other leagues.
