PokerStars selects Romance for its new international communication platform
Feb. 13, 2018
PokerStars, world leader in online poker, has chosen Parisian agency Romance to develop its new international TV and social media brand platform. The platform, "you are already a great poker player", will roll out in 2018 in 10 countries including France, the UK and the US.
The agency released a hit campaign for PokerStars last year, generating the brand’s growth in French market share. The saga continues, starting with the new spot “Poker Faces”, which will be followed by another film in September, both directed by Rudi Rosenberg (Production Insurrection).
The win comes after 2 years of successful collaboration with Betclic, a sports betting website, and is a first step onto the world stage for Romance.
Alexandre Hervé, co-founder and ECD of Romance, said:
"Lots of creative territories have already been explored in the market for online poker, and it’s a tremendous opportunity to be in a position to renew the genre, especially with a brand as powerful as this."
Christophe Lichtenstein, co-founder and CEO of Romance, added:
"We now know how be a central agency on an international scale. After Audi Sport and Wargaming, this is a new and very exciting step for our development."
