The premisses where idealized to fulfill our visitor’s comfort demands, offering a familiar environment based on a professional structure. Offering a wide range of quality audio services, Som de Lisboa gained a worldwide recognition on band recording, post-production, sound design and producing original music for movie soundtracks and advertising campaigns.
It all started in 1992 when António Ricciardi and André Roquette, both graduates in audio engineering, founded the studio in one of Lisbon’s most traditional neighbourhoods, Mouraria. Six hard working years latter they relocated to the well known Av. 24 de Julho, raising the standard in recording studio facilities in Lisbon.
Top facilities required the best staff available, so Som de Lisboa snatched the well known producer Miguel Guia from Oporto to join the team.
The year of 2007 came with huge changes, expansion and evolution was a constant on the collective mind of Som de Lisboa, so relocation occurred again in this company history. Brand new studios were built by worldwide recognized Studio People, now facing all the demands of the music production\post-production world.
Located in Rua das Flores, inserted in a Pombalino building this studio breathes the traditional Lisbon lifestyle being the famous Bairro Alto the perfect background for a night out after a long working studio session.
