On November 6, 1992, the first hypermarket in Peru was inaugurated: Metro Chorrillos. An ideal space for housewives to shop as a family. Four years later he opened his second store, Metro Breña. The opening of the new premises meant a big step for Metro. Since then the chain has been growing thanks to the preference of Peruvian housewives. With the opening of Metro Castilla, Metro becomes the first supermarket and hypermarket chain to reach 50 stores nationwide. Thanks to all our customers, Metro stores currently have 69 stores spread throughout Peru.
