Or Yarok

Or Yarok association for safer driving in Israel was established in 1997, as a result of its founders’ understanding of the supreme importance of uncompromising struggle against road accidents, and the importance of community involvement in this struggle. The declared mission of the association is to do everything in its power to minimize accidents fatalities and casualties and to improve driving-culture in Israel.
Or Yarok is a private Israeli NGO that is supported by a central private donor (the Naor Family) together with funds raised from private individuals, foundations and corporate resources.
The Chairman and founder of the association is Avi Naor, Ran Naor’s Z”L father. Ran was killed in a road accident during his Army service, when he was almost 20 years old. Or Yarok’s CEO is Shmuel Aboav.
