Through the equitable distribution of broadcast and commercial revenues, the Premier League aim is to enable all Clubs to be competitive and to develop so that European competition is a realistic goal and, once there, they are playing at a level where they can compete effectively. The Premier League’s remit and responsibilities also extend to supporting and providing a framework for youth development, protecting the organisation’s intellectual property, supporting the wider game and community programmes, undertaking international development work and liaising with governing bodies and other leagues. All of these activities enable and support the Premier League’s purpose, which is to: - Play the world’s most competitive and compelling football - Inspire fans, communities and partners alike - Invigorate lives across the globe
