Règles Élémentaires is the first French association to fight against menstrual precariousness.
Règles Élémentaires is the first French association to fight against menstrual precariousness. They follow a double objective, or collecting intimate hygiene products for women in need, and breaking taboos through various awareness-raising actions.
Since its creation in 2015 by Tara Heuzé-Sarmini, the association has provided more than 3,000,000 intimate hygiene products to more than 50,000 women beneficiaries, and organised more than 1,000 collections with over 200 partners and 100+ awareness events in France. Règles Élémentaires have over 30 volunteers distributed in 6 local branches and 5 permanent positions. The association has established itself as a citizen mobilization platform that allows everyone to organize a collection in a few clicks, which informs, raises awareness, and moves rules and laws.
