Their mission is to inspire and mobilize the community to support relentless innovation in research, teaching and care at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, an internationally-renowned pediatric centre affiliated with the McGill University Health Centre providing highly-specialized healthcare.

1904 and today. The Montreal Children’s Hospital is a global leader in pediatric medicine and has a ground breaking multicultural program, offering services in French, English and 45 other languages. The Children’s is proud of its ability to serve an increasingly diverse Quebec community. But even more than that We Speak Children.

1973. The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation was established to bolster these values, while promoting excellence in care. Since its creation, thanks to the community’s support, the Foundation has raised over $474,5 million to support relentless innovation in research, teaching and care at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, an internationally-renowned pediatric center providing highly-specialized healthcare.

2005. The Best Care for Children campaign is launched to help build the new hospital on the Glen site. Thanks to the support of the business community and individuals, the Foundation raised $105M. With single-patient rooms, state-of-the-art equipment and an innovative design to accommodate the best modern pediatric medicine has to offer, the Hospital is uniquely placed to blend teaching and research with cutting-edge patient care.

2015. Star NHL defenseman P.K. Subban announced his $10 million pledge to families at the Children’s through the P.K.’s Helping Hand fund and the P.K. Subban Foundation.

2016. The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation opened a satellite office on the Glen site to be closer to those it seeks to help: families, children and hospital personnel. Come by for a visit!

2018. The Foundation created a new visual identity to remind the community at large of what people like you can accomplish. Representing the figure of a child, our logo has three elements: a single band-aid to represent the hospital`s core mission to heal children, ease their suffering and save lives; a heart to represent the love that flows between our patients and those who support them. Joined together, they form an icon that represents the bond that exists between you, our patients and their families, and the Hospital. Together, we Heal. Love. Bond.

2019. The Foundation begins its most ambitious fundraising campaign in its history. The goal? To raise $200 million to support innovation in research, teaching and care at the Children’s and pediatric research at the RI-MUHC. This historic initiative will be supported by a 41-member campaign cabinet, led by the Honourable L. Yves Fortier as Honourary President.
