Ad of the Day | Winamax & TBWA\Paris are Ready for Liftoff with their New Campaign : "The Moon Race"

Balancing emotion and imagination, the film taps into Humankind’s universal aspiration: setting foot on the Moon. Unlike the legendary Apollo 11 mission, no spaceships await the protagonists. Instead, they must rely on their ingenuity to build from scratch their own rockets and launch themselves toward ultimate victory.

From the very first moments, the excitement is palpable around this extraordinary event. The entire population is ready to witness history, and the tension is mounting. Residents gather to watch the show, while the boldest of them all are putting their spacesuits on:

  • The Gipsy Crew and its heroine, turning scrap fuselages into a homemade cannon
  • Firefighters with their iconic red truck, repurposed as a rocket-launcher
  • Super-geeks team led by a completely mad professor
  • Japanese chefs launching their champion from a fish-shaped cannon mounted on a food truck
  • And even a crazy inventor blasting himself off his rooftop in a cannon built of leather and wood.

The sky becomes the stage of a frantic race — a true assault on the stars, where contestants will stop at nothing. They dart through clouds, dodge obstacles, and pull every trick in their bags to claim the lead. But who will reach the Moon first?


Director Romain Chassaing, already behind two previous Winamax campaigns, delivers another explosive and spectacular piece. Beyond the visual feast, the film is elevated by a wild re-orchestration of the iconic track Still D.R.E. by American artist Dr. Dre, co-written with Jay-Z, produced by \Else.

The campaign rolls out with a full 360° media plan: TV, VOL, and display from August 31. From September 8, it will be accompanied by a nationwide OOH & DOOH campaign, giving audiences the chance to discover the very first outdoor campaign… on the Moon.
