Breast Cancer Now Showcases The People To Turn To With New Brand Campaign Titled "We're Here"

Breast Cancer Now, the research and support charity, is launching an awareness campaign created by BMB showing the many ways the charity is here for people affected by breast cancer.

Appearing across press and radio, digital display and through static and animated social media posts, the campaign positions Breast Cancer Now as the place to turn for anyone affected by the disease.  Using the new brand line "We’re Here", the campaign breaks on 9 June and will run until 17 July.  It brings into focus the people who are here to support the hundreds of thousands of people living with breast cancer in the UK and their loved ones.

Shot by award winning photographer James Day, the campaign features 14 striking portraits of real people involved with Breast Cancer Now.  From a nurse, psychotherapist and researcher, to fundraisers, campaigners and volunteers, each execution shows how they are here for people affected by breast cancer through their own personal experience of the disease.

However someone is experiencing breast cancer, Breast Cancer Now is here.  The brightest scientific minds are here, making life-saving research happen in labs across the UK and Ireland. Specialist nurses, support services and trusted breast cancer information are all here. Ready to give vital support, whenever it’s needed. And dedicated campaigners are here, fighting for the best possible treatment, services and care, for anyone affected by breast cancer.

Rachael Franklin, Director of Fundraising, Communications and Engagement at Breast Cancer Now said:

"We’re delighted to be launching our “We’re Here” campaign as we want anyone affected by breast cancer to know they can turn to us. We provide support in every way we can, and are able to do this thanks to the work of so many incredible individuals, some of whom we introduce the public to through this campaign - from our volunteers, to our world-class researchers and expert nurses on our Helpline, to people living with breast cancer, their family and friends. We want to get the message out loud and clear that if you’ve been affected by breast cancer you’re not alone – we’re here for you, every step of the way."

Claudia Wallace, Managing Director at BMB added:

"By putting names and faces to all the incredible people behind Breast Cancer Now, we hope to show the breadth of expertise and support that’s available to people experiencing breast cancer, and help position Breast Cancer Now as the place to turn to for anyone going through it."
