Effie Worldwide Announces Global Grand Contenders for its 2024 Global Best of the Best Awards

Effie Worldwide, the global authority on marketing effectiveness, is proud to unveil the 58 Global Grand Contenders in the 2024 Global Best of the Best Effie Awards competition. 

The Global Best of the Best Effie Awards provide a unique opportunity to assess effectiveness across a truly global landscape, recognizing the most effective marketing efforts from around the world. Gold and Grand Effie winners from over 55 Effie Awards programs in 2023 were eligible to enter, competing for the Global Grand Effie in their respective categories, benchmarking success across diverse markets, categories, and business objectives. 

This year’s contenders represent work spanning the globe, from the world’s most iconic brands to up-and-coming challengers. The work was judged by an international jury of senior marketing leaders, with the contenders demonstrating the ability to deliver exceptional results at every step of the marketing process.  

This year's contenders feature marketing efforts across 25 diverse markets, with the strongest representation from the US, Brazil, India and Romania. The work spanned 19 industries, with the largest number of contenders across Food & Beverages, Non-profit, and Financial Services & Banking.  Similarly, 35 unique categories were represented, with the highest volume of cases seen across Positive Change, Brand Content & Entertainment, Sustained Success and Retail. 

From these 58 Global Grand Contenders, the winners of the Global Grand Effie Award will be announced, along with the recipient of the Iridium Effie Award - awarded to the single most effective marketing effort in the world.

The Global Best of the Best Effie Awards are possible because of the strength of the Effie Awards international partner network - with 58 local and regional teams delivering expertise on the ground across 130 markets - with support this year also coming from TikTok.
