Electricity Infrastructure Company, Enedis, Presents a 17-Minute Doco about Protecting Birds
Oct. 16, 2026
One of the causes: power lines. Almost invisible in flight, they pose a serious threat to certain already vulnerable species, such as white storks.
For over 30 years, Enedis has been working to protect birds from the dangers posed by power lines. Today, together with its agencies Rosa Paris and Havas Media France, the company is taking this long-standing commitment to the next level with "Life Corridors".
Data analysts, electrical engineers, geomatics specialists, CSR managers… Across France, Enedis teams are bringing together their expertise to identify high-risk areas and make them safer for birds.
This collective effort builds on a long-standing partnership with the French Birds Protection League (LPO), the French National Museum of Natural History, and wildlife conservation organisations such as ACROLA. More than 30,000 bird protection devices have been installed. In the most sensitive areas, some power lines have even been moved underground.
With Life Corridors, Enedis is choosing a different way to tell the story of this collective commitment. The result is a 17-minute documentary that blends the raw reality of life in the field with a dreamlike, contemplative vision. Produced by Phantasm and directed by Vanessa Joo Dumont and Nicolas Davenel (NDVD), Life Corridors offers a moving and poetic perspective on humanity’s responsibility towards the animal world, through the eyes of a multidisciplinary filmmaking duo.

To support the launch, Enedis, Havas Media France, Havas Play and FranceTV Publicité are rolling out an integrated media, branded content and influencer campaign designed to raise awareness of the documentary and extend its reach across different audiences.
Starting October 14, the film will benefit from premium exposure on Prime Video and France.tv, available across all devices, as well as prominent editorial placement in the environmental documentary selection.
The launch will be supported by:
- A high-impact digital campaign on france.tv
- More than 40 airings of the trailer on France 2 and France 5.
The campaign will also be amplified through branded content partnerships with Le Média Positif and Avre, leading media outlets covering environmental issues and innovation. These collaborations will provide an opportunity to explore biodiversity challenges and the solutions implemented by Enedis in greater depth.
Two purpose-driven content creators, The Impact Story and La Camilleri, will also bring the story to their respective audiences. Finally, a paid digital and social media campaign will sustain the documentary’s visibility over time.
