Everyone Loves Aperol Spritz – But Can The Waiter Keep Up?
May. 13, 2025
Aperol (Campari Group) has appointed DDB Paris to lead its first global campaign, launching mid-May 2025 across more than 30 countries—including the USA, UK, Germany, and Italy. The new film, “Everyone Loves Aperol Spritz – But Can the Waiter Keep Up?”, is a sun-soaked celebration of Aperol’s universal appeal, set in a lively Italian bar where the star is always the same: the Aperol Spritz.
Directed by Jara Moravec, the film follows the fast-paced day of Marco, a charismatic waiter juggling endless orders of Italy’s #1 cocktail. From the bar’s seasoned regulars to trendy influencers like Alessia Lanza, Kamrad, Yaya, and Lloyd from HandLuggageOnly, everyone’s craving the same thing—an Aperol Spritz.
The story unfolds with humor and energy, capturing the unmistakable Aperitivo spirit. Whether it’s the curious couple, the bustling bartender, or the ever-prepared owner Fabi with his crate of oranges, the message is clear: Aperol brings people together. It’s the same vibrant scene from Milan to Manhattan, Naples to New York.
Alexander Kalchev, CEO & CCO of DDB Paris said:
"This campaign is all about the vibe of Aperol Spritz. It’s about celebrating that perfectly imperfect moment when people come together to share a drink that truly can claim the word iconic. We wanted to keep things simple and transport you to this charming Italian piazza and capture the Aperitivo moment in an authentic and universal way."
The campaign, soundtracked by Niv Ast’s “Tutto Bene ft. Ruty Klein”, is the first step in an exciting new creative partnership between Aperol and DDB Paris. It will run across TV, VOD, YouTube, social, OOH, e-commerce, and influencer-led content throughout summer 2025.
Wherever you are, one thing remains the same:
Aperol. L’unico. Per tutti.
