Iberdrola has Partnered with Ogilvy to Present "Whatever Happens" Campaign
Feb. 23, 2024
In a world marked by uncertainty, Iberdrola has partnered with Ogilvy to present "Pase lo que Pase" (Whatever Happens), an out-of-this-world campaign that challenges conventions and captures the essence of stability in uncertain times.
This pioneering campaign, managed by Hogarth and directed by the award-winning science fiction director Alex de la Iglesia, not only breaks the mold of conventional advertising but also offers a completely innovative approach to communicating the benefits of Iberdrola's Green Stable Plan.
Iberdrola's Green Stable Plan offers a stable price for electricity, every day and every hour, for five years, with no commitment to stay and a €100 bonus upon signing up. And, a plan like this required an out-of-this-world advertising campaign to communicate it.
The insight that worries society is the uncertainty about the energy future and its prices. The comprehensive, multi-support campaign is built focusing on conveying the tranquility and security that Iberdrola's product offers by providing price stability in electricity to its customers. The powerful concept is "Pase Lo Que Pase" (Whatever Happens). From this premise, a television production is developed that illustrates how Iberdrola's Green Stable Plan provides stability and confidence in a world full of energy and financial uncertainty.
The campaign takes viewers on a unique visual journey, where the ordinary blends with the extraordinary. From a couple experiencing the chaos of a supposed alien invasion to surreal scenes that defy logic, "Pase lo que Pase" (Whatever Happens) is much more than an advertising campaign; it is a declaration of confidence in the stability that Iberdrola offers its customers.
Jesus Rasines, Executive Creative Director of Ogilvy said:
"Collaborating with Iberdrola on this project has been an exciting challenge and an opportunity to take the brand to new horizons. And having Alex de la Iglesia has been wonderful."
The "Pase lo que Pase" (Whatever Happens) campaign was launched today on various media throughout Spain, including television, print, radio, digital media, and outdoor media.
