JEA Promotes Northeast Florida Businesses In "Your Community. Your YOUtility" Campaign

Northeast Florida community-owned utility JEA has launched a new educational campaign by agency St. John that promotes local businesses and the utility’s dedication to the community. The campaign, which features five spots, shows the impact JEA has by using real customer, partner and employee stories.

The "Your Community. Your YOUtility." campaign aims to build awareness about JEA's programs that support community growth by building strong connections with customers and enhancing their utility experience. With testimonials by customers, employees, and partners, the campaign puts real faces to the impact that JEA has on the community it serves.

David Goldberg, Director, JEA Customer, and Community Engagement said:

"We want our customers to know that our commitment to the community has never been stronger. This campaign aims to help educate our customers about the tools, solutions, and resources we have available to help them save time and money and help the environment. JEA exists to serve our customers and improve their lives, as their community-owned utility."

The lead campaign ad shows a diverse group of Jacksonville area businesses—including Atlantic Beach Urban Farms, Motion Sweets Gourmet Desserts, Jacksonville Muay Thai, and Fade Em All Barbershop, among others—as they meet with JEA experts and get ready for the business day.

“You’ve invested a lot to be here for us and you deserve a utility that’s here for you,” says a voiceover, referring to how JEA is there to support its business customers and community.

The four other spots focus on customer-saving solutions, community impact, reliability, and environmental conservation. In the environmental conservation storyline, customers learn about how JEA is ensuring the water supply for future generations.

The campaign, which launched March 14 and runs through May 31, is being shown on greater Jacksonville, Florida, area broadcast and connected TV as well as broadcast radio, digital audio, digital video/pre-roll, digital display, social media, native, and digital out-of-home.

Digital channels provide customers with knowledge, tools and programs they can use so they can get to know their utility better. Broadcast creative builds awareness for how JEA customers can benefit from JEA programs, while digital channels are used to tell a deeper, more tangible story.

St. John has been the Agency of Record for JEA since 2013.
