M+C Saatchi Appoints Tom Firth as CEO Of UK Creative Agency
Oct. 20, 2026
M+C Saatchi Group UK has promoted Tom Firth, currently Group Chief Client Partner, to Chief Executive Officer of its UK Creative Agency, as part of the ongoing evolution of the UK business and its integrated operating model.
Reporting to UK Group Executive Chair Marcus Peffers, Firth will lead M+C Saatchi's UK Creative Agency, overseeing its strategic direction, creative output, commercial performance, talent and leadership team. He will lead relationships across the agency's portfolio of commercial and public-sector clients and work in partnership with leaders across the wider UK Group to deliver integrated solutions spanning creativity, consulting, media, PR, sport and entertainment, production and data.
The appointment builds on M+C Saatchi's ongoing investment in its UK Creative Agency leadership, following the recent promotion of Guy Bradbury to Chief Creative Officer and the appointment of Regan Warner as Executive Creative Director.
Firth's promotion comes as M+C Saatchi continues to simplify its UK structure and bring together its creative, consumer and citizen expertise. As clients face increasingly complex commercial, cultural and political challenges, M+C Saatchi is bringing its expertise closer together to combine strategic clarity, creative excellence and measurable commercial impact.
Starting as a graduate trainee, Firth has held various senior roles across the business, including Managing Director of the ad agency, CEO of M+C Saatchi Life, the Group’s sustainability division and, most recently, UK Group Chief Client Partner.
He has built a reputation for combining strategic thinking with creative problem solving, and his breadth of experience, deep understanding of the agency and ability to operate across disciplines make him ideally placed to lead its next chapter. Alongside his executive responsibilities, he has served on the IPA Council since 2017, where he also chairs the Sustainability Action Group.
Marcus Peffers, Executive Chair at M+C Saatchi Group UK, said:
“Tom’s been a star of the business since he joined us as a graduate trainee. He represents M+C Saatchi at its best: fun, generous and possessing exceptional strategic judgement, underpinned by a deeply held belief in the power of creativity to solve the most challenging problems. At a time when clients are navigating unprecedented complexity, they're looking for partners like Tom who can bring clarity, confidence and brilliant, bold thinking to the decisions that matter most. All of this makes Tom perfectly placed to lead the next phase of our Creative Agency's growth. I’m delighted he’s taking up the position of CEO.”
Tom Firth, Chief Executive Officer of M+C Saatchi's UK Creative Agency, added:
"There is something special about this company - the partnerships we forge, the opportunities we create, the talent we attract. That’s why I’ve stayed for so long and why I’m excited about this role and the potential of the agency right now. In a market as complex and uncertain as this, brutal simplicity of thought has never been more essential to help brands find and harness their Cultural Power."
