MakeMake Names Ananda Reavis Executive Head of Studio Production
May. 28, 2025
MakeMake has appointed Ananda Reavis as its first Executive Head of Studio Production. In this new leadership role, Reavis will work with all Executive Producers and Management and oversee shared productions across Rock Paper Scissors, A52, Primary, Elastic. She will guide projects from inception to delivery with an emphasis on creative excellence and cross-company collaboration.
This role marks an important next chapter for MakeMake as the studio brings together seven distinct creative companies under one roof. Reavis will help shape how these teams work together, with a focus on refining internal systems, evolving production processes, and supporting the studio-wide culture that values experimentation and craft.
A respected leader with a deep background in commercial and creative production, Reavis brings nearly two decades of experience across nearly every production role—from executive assistant to senior executive producer. Her career began at Riot Pictures and continued through tenures at Brickyard VFX, Method, and Company 3, where she produced acclaimed work for Toyota, Cadillac, Dodge, Google, ESPN, Sony, Stella Artois, Dunkin’, Amazon, Adidas, and more.
Reavis has a way of making people feel both trusted and challenged. She encourages producers to take the lead, ask better questions, and stay open to surprise. Her style is hands-on when it needs to be, but always rooted in clear communication, curiosity, and a deep respect for the creative process.
Reavis on her new role remarked:
“My goal is to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment where producers feel empowered in their decision-making and supported in their professional growth. What really stood out to me about MakeMake was the people—so many have been here for years, which says a lot about the culture. The more I learned about the company, the more impressed I was by the caliber of the work and the thoughtfulness behind it. There’s real intention here, and a deep respect for the creative process. I’m excited to be part of a team that’s pushing boundaries and doing such inspiring work.”
Angus Wall, Founder and CEO of MakeMake, added:
”If you’re building the studio of the future, you need people that don’t fit neatly into a box. Ananda is a systems thinker with a creative soul – exactly the kind of person we need right now at MakeMake. She’s helping design a production ecosystem that mirrors the scale of our creative ambition. With Ananda, we’re building a studio where structure feeds spontaneity and the conditions are perfect for invention, collaboration, and re-enchantment.”
