Nissan Launches "Last to Legends," a Powerful Documentary on Their Formula-E Championship Comeback
Jan. 15, 2026
Nissan and Nissan United are stealing the show this January with their latest brand documentary. Ever heard of Formula-E? Nissan is serving us a fast-paced, high-stakes documentary about their latest World Champion title in this gripping sport. But it’s not what you would think: out with the pedantry, in with the honest, poignant look at themselves.
Portrayed with great humility by Romain Staropoli, the Nismo team defies ordinary once again and retraces their journey, going over the decisions that took them from very last to official legends in this sport. From losing at every race and parting ways with their star driver Oliver Rowland, to asking themselves the right questions and making the right decisions, the 12min documentary Last to Legends shows Nissan’s special recipe for winning.
Spoiler: resilience is a big part of the game. With this campaign, Nissan United and TBWA\Paris offer us a masterclass in leveraging communication ecosystems: from long-form brand content, to CRM, website, and social media assets.
