Sonic Union Joins The ProPros as Creative Production Partner

Sonic Union is honored to announce its role as creative production partner and sponsor for The PrePros, a free live event series and podcast launched to connect emerging advertising talent with world-class production professionals. Sonic Union provided live sound engineering, all recorded audio + mix, and original theme music by Sonic Union Creative Director Zac Colwell. The first episode of The PrePros podcast, recorded live at the March event, is out now and available on Spotify, Apple, Amazon, YouTube, and The PrePros website.

Founded by ECD Rachel Frederick and CD Patrick Burke with production support by Sr. Producer Danica Rosen and EP Maria Elena Lopez-Frank, The PrePros aims to give the next generation of creatives direct access, real insight and guidance from the best in production and ideation. Based in New York, each event includes a happy hour, a featured talk and an interactive panel discussion. Sessions are hosted at different agencies and production houses throughout the city. 

The series launched in March with its first session, “You sold it through, now what?,” hosted by Mischief@ No Fixed Address. The panel featured Terri Timely, Director Duo at Park Pictures, Annie Perri, Editor at Work Editorial, Will Dempster, HOP and Partner at Mischief, Bianca Guimaraes, Founding Partner and ECD at Mischief, Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Co-Founder of Park Pictures, Christopher Grove, EP at Park Pictures, Danielle Balanov, Sr. Producer at Mischief, and Tati Lanier, Sr. Producer at Mischief.

Rachel Frederick noted:

“Our first PrePros at Mischief was awesome. The panel gave great advice, and the energy in the room was amazing. Listening back while making the podcast made it hit even harder. Even after 20+ years in this business, I still learned something new.”
