Work Editorial has added Sebastian Zotoff to its award-winning roster of editors. Pushing creative boundaries in both his narrative films and commercial work, Sebastian excavates the throughline of every storyline through exacting, beautiful cuts.

Hailing from Chicago, Sebastian’s college pursuit of journalism led him directly towards his passion for editing. Artistically versatile, his editorial insight is the result of his collaborative nature and quick decision-making in service of the director’s overall vision. Insightful and judicious with his edits, Sebastian’s sensibilities lend themselves to cinematic projects with rich visual palettes and intricate storylines.

Sebastian won Editorial: Music Video accolades and was recognized as Best In Show at the AICP Post Awards this year for editing the surreal 90s sitcom-style music video for Doechii’s “DENIAL IS A RIVER,” which also won a Telly and Berlin Commercial Award. Additionally, he edited the Kinsale Shark and VMA-winning music videos for Dove Cameron’s “Breakfast,” Imagine Dragons’ “Sharks,” and Lil Yachty’s “Say Something,” as well as music videos for Rosalía, Billie Eilish, Saweetie, Kehlani, YG, HorsegiirL, and Royel Otis. His commercial work includes spots for notable clients like Airbnb, Nike, Walmart, Apple, the NBA, Verizon, Hotels.com, MCM, and Billboard. Sebastian also edited the Tribeca Film Festival short film “Hoop Dreams” from director Kasey Elise Walker.

Sebastian Zotoff on signing remarked:

“Work Editorial’s focus on craft is what really drew me to them. I’m excited to work alongside this group of extremely talented editors and producers.”

Marlo Baird, Managing Director of Work Editorial LA, added:

“Sebastian’s edits are as unique as his personality. He has great taste, which is showcased in all his work. He's a genuine talent and passionate about the craft of editing, so he fits right in here at Work. We feel privileged to help shepherd his career as he grows in this industry.”
