Wunderman Thompson And Accion Gay Challenge Prejudices To Fight Alongside Homoparental Families
Jun. 09, 2021
Just during 2020, complaints about discrimination and homophobia rose more than 58% in Chile. Just the tip of the iceberg of society’s judgment that keeps same-sex couples suffering and fighting for their rights.
For this reason, Wunderman Thompson joined Acción Gay, a foundation that fights for the rights of the LGBTQIA + community to change this reality and bring back to the table the conversation about the rights of same-sex couples and families and the possibility of adopting in the adoption system.
This is how "Family Love" is born, a graphic campaign that shows throughout our history, thousands of families have been forced by abandonment or other situations to raise their children with two maternal or paternal figures, empirically demonstrating that love and care is the basis of family, regardless of whether it is opposite or same sex parents.

Samer Zeidan, VP Creative de Wunderman Thompson Chile, said:
“The campaign seeks to make the entire Chilean society ask itself a simple question: If there are children raised by two men or two women and this has never been a problem, and neither has love …then what is the problem?”
