Julia de Sainte Marie Appointed Managing Partner of Ogilvy Paris in charge of Experience

Feb. 27, 2024

Ogilvy Paris announces the appointment of Julia de Sainte Marie as Managing Partner in charge of Experience. Julia joined the agency in 2021 as Head of Experience, and joined the agency's Executive Committee in May 2022. This appointment is part of Ogilvy Paris' development phase on Customer Experience and Gen AI topics, particularly with the creation of its AI.Lab center of excellence launched  early 2023. As such, she will be in charge of pursuing the development of this center and will continue to steer the agency's key accounts such as Accor, Nestlé and L'Oréal.

Ogilvy has always placed creativity and innovation at the heart of its value proposition.

Julia de Sainte Marie, Managing Partner Ogilvy Paris said:

"I'm very pleased to be able to bring our creative DNA to the new drivers of customer experience transformation, and GenAI in particular,"

Mathieu Plassard, President - Ogilvy Paris added:

''We have great ambitions to expand our Customer Experience offering. Already very strong on the loyalty pillar (with Accor-All, Nestlé Nutrition Infantile, Dolce Gusto, Lactalis...). 1 year ago we developed a center of excellence around generative AI (La Laitière, Tinder, Nespresso, L'Oréal). Julia is the perfect embodiment of these two pillars focused on a reinvented customer experience."

Her career path

Julia began her career in innovative start-ups and independent agencies, where she navigated between project management and account management for beauty industry leaders such as L'Oréal Group and Shiseido. In 2012, Julia joined the Sopexa Group, an international marketing agency specializing in the agro-food industry, to support customers in their digital strategy.  She was later appointed Chief Digital

Officer to structure and develop the agency's digital expertise, building a strong ecosystem of relevant technology partners to cover all customer needs. During this time, Julia led a Digital Factory, a team of 12 experts based in key markets to accelerate the Group's digital transformation.

Passionate about innovation, Julia then joined ISOBAR, the Dentsu group's creative and digital agency, as Consulting Director and then Associate Director, to devote herself to developing the agency's key accounts (Française des Jeux, Citroën) with a broad scope of action: redesigning ecosystems, optimizing journeys, designing brand content strategies. She has gradually developed a strong expertise in CRM & Data, notably by supporting OUIGO, Groupe Seb, La Banque Postale and Flying Blue in the design and deployment of their customer experience strategy.
