Migrante Expands its Network into Europe with new Milan HQ
Apr. 22, 2025
Migrante, the independent LA-based creative agency, is expanding its network into Europe for the first time.
Migrante is headquartered in Venice Beach, California, with a network of employees all over the world. It serves as a creative plug-in partner, helping brands grow through storytelling designed to resonate with audiences and hold their attention.
Migrante’s new European hub will be headquartered in Milan, Italy, and will be the agency’s second official location. Migrante’s Milan HQ will be led by newly appointed Valerio Le Moli as Creative Director. Le Moli has worked as Senior Creative Director in several Italian and international agencies, where he worked with brands, including Sky TV, Fiat, Prime Video, and Henkel.
The move into Europe follows Migrante’s appointment as the agency of record and global creative hub for Abarth. Migrante won the business following a global pitch against undisclosed agencies run directly by the client. The previous incumbent was Publicis Sapient.
The European headquarters will serve Abarth and other global clients across a variety of sectors based in Europe.
As the global creative hub for Abarth, Migrante is now responsible for the creation of all master assets globally for Abarth across all media, including TVC, Digital, Social, OOH, Print and Radio. Abarth’s brief was to deliver a holistic communication approach by moving from a traditional media channel communication to an omnichannel and customer/ data-oriented strategy.
Migrante will operate as Abarth’s global creative hub, a solid operational centralized system of management and coordination. The agency will be fully responsible for brand communication and strategy; creative thinking and omnichannel execution; and digital and social creative and content.
The Abarth win follows a series of recent campaigns by Migrante, including the launch of the Alfa Romeo Junior campaign featuring Pedro Alonso (Berlin from Casa de Papel).
Leo Ricagni, ECD and Founder of Migrante said:
“Our partnership with Abarth represents the future of advertising because together we’re building a global creative hub, where talent from all over the world comes together to spark new ideas and push the limits of creativity. It's about combining diverse perspectives in order to set the pace and raise the bar on what great work can be. It also marks a major expansion for Migrante into Europe and a new era for our network.”
Migrante’s Europe expansion is led by Sol Ricagni, Migrante’s VP / General Manager & Creative, who has grown Migrante for the past five years and led the winning Abarth pitch. The new HQ has a core team to manage day-to-day operations, strategy, and execution. This local team also works closely with Migrante’s global network of creatives, strategists, and artists to ensure that every campaign is driven by a global perspective.
