Unicorns & Unicorns Signs Director Derek Westerlund

Unicorns & Unicorns welcomes Director Derek Westerlund to Its creative roster and launches the latest commercial campaign for Honda. Westerlund has directed commercial projects for notable brands including Samsung, HP, Under Armour, Nissan, Lexus and Hyundai.

With a career spanning 30 years in action sports, Westerlund has produced and directed heart-pounding sports and action content in over 50 countries. Eventually creating his very own production company, he quickly became Red Bull’s go-to production partner and content studio, creating short and long form film, television, digital docu-series for the beverage giant. With accolades like "AdAge"’s #5 Rated Marketing Campaign of the 21st Century to the Sports Emmy Award for Digital Innovation under his belt, Westerlund’s production acumen runs deep. Westerlund has recently dedicated his time exclusively to feature film and commercial directing.
